electronic access for machines, lockers and cabinets

The key that cannot be copied.

A lock that opens with a phone instead of a key. You choose who can open what, and when, and every opening is recorded, even where there is no signal.

Made in Riga, Latvia. First pilots from Q4 2026.

The name-1 operator dashboard on a laptop: lock counts, unlocks over the last fortnight, alerts needing attention and a live activity table.
The dashboard — every lock, everyone who can open it, and every opening.
the problem

Machines and lockers still run on brass keys.

Keys get copied, lost and passed on. Nobody knows who opened what, and taking a key back means changing the lock, door by door.

One key opens everything

Locks are often keyed alike, so one lost copy reaches every door.

No record at all

When something goes missing, nobody can say who was there, or when.

Taking a key back is slow

Someone has to drive out and change the lock on every door that key could open.

We replace the lock, not the machine. From the outside, nothing changes.

where it fits

Anything that opens with a key today.

Vending machines

The cash and the stock, open only to the people you choose.

Coffee machines

Service doors your team opens with a phone, not a ring of keys.

Smart parcel lockers

A one-time key for a courier or a customer, and a record of every door.

Cabinets and kiosks

Service cabinets, kiosks and anything else with a door and a lock.

how it works

Tap, then turn. No key at all.

Your phone tells the lock to let go, and you turn it by hand, like a key. If the power fails, it stays locked, not open.

  1. You give accessChoose who can open which lock, and for how long.
  2. Their phone gets the keyIt arrives in the app and keeps working without signal.
  3. The lock checks itIt opens only for a key made for that lock, at that time.
  4. It opens, and it is recordedEvery opening is logged, so you always know who and when.

Nothing needs to be online at the lock, so it keeps working in basements, steel cabinets and anywhere else without signal.

what we make

Three pieces, one system. All of it ours.

The name-1 lock: a steel lock body with two wires at the back.

The lock

Replaces the old key lock in the door. It opens only for a phone with the right key, and stays shut without power.

More about the lock
The name-1 controller seen from above, with a debossed wordmark and a status light.

The controller

A small box hidden inside, on the machine’s own power, with a backup so it can still open when the power is off.

More about the controller
The name-1 app showing the nearby lock and an instruction to turn the key now.

The app and the dashboard

An app for the people who open, and a dashboard for the people who decide who can.
